A walk in the town

Playing around with different textures... denim, chiffon and cotton.... mixing and mismatching....

Trenching in the sun....

Do not trust Kenyan weather! In the morning, on my way to town, it was raining and then in the late morning the sun decides to come out. That's what got me wearing a trench coat on a sunny day but, you know what they say, "make hay while the sun shines".

What I would pair it with

Every time I see something I like, I imagine what I would pair it with. Here are some shoes that I paired up with various items. After all, style is an art.

Dinner....

It's been a loooooooooong time since I last posted. Just school stuff. Anyway, I have an outfit that I would like to share with you. I wore it for a birthday dinner and unfortunately the room or the camera was a bit weird  so the picture is not that good but its okay.

Trenching up

The weather has been a bit weird of late...

Yup, I combined them....

There was no particular reason for trying out this combination. It just seemed like an interesting thing to do and we must admit that a formal skirt (and it has pockets.... #pocket junkie) and a crop top are a rare mix.

Pockets

These pants have very interesting pockets... And no, they are not harem pants... They just have big pockets which I think is really cool...

Silk and Jeans

Yes, I am standing on a bridge and below it is a small river but a river nonetheless... Kenya is a really beautiful country...
The handbag is one of my mum's oldest ones. It's probably vintage by now but it's cool and still in pretty good shape.

Formal in Pink

Pink, Black and white really seems to work... I love the dress because of the way it looks but I hate it because I have to dry clean it. It's one of those dresses that have a mixture of colours but the coloured part, in this case the black area, runs when the dress is put in water. Does anyone have a home remedy for such clothes?
The pumps are slowly becoming a personal favourite of mine. At first when I realised that I wanted to buy them and then wear them with every official look I could think of, I freaked out because I had always thought pumps are for women older than I am... But guess what?? They're actually really cool... and really comfortable...
