Seriously I never saw this one coming but it did and I actually like it. I went to see a friend of mine and she goes "You should consider putting that outfit on your blog". Me: "Really?... " and then the pictures happened.

Pattern blocking

Polka dots and stripes..... Who knew? Although, we (as in most people) pattern block a lot without even realising it. Somehow I was lucky enough to get colours of both which didn't make me look like a clown.

I love coats with buttons running on both sides of it. Am not sure what that design is called... Needless to say, this checked blue coat is one of those items I prize a lot but then again almost everything I own is priceless to me... It was one of those things that the guy who is selling starts off at an exorbitant price and your walking away to see if he'll follow you and when you realise that he is not desperate, you run back and just buy the damn coat... The pants are actually Ralph Lauren and I got them when they were completely new but I had to make a few minor adjustments for them to actually fit me the way I wanted them to... Sorry Ralph, it was nothing personal....

One of Gossip Girl's very own, Blair Waldorf has graced our posts today... I idolise gossip girl fashion and Blair is a good if not the best example of what style is and can be... Lol! If only her wardrobe could fall into mine... Like "would it even fit in my room?"...

Why we love PLL...

PLL stands for Pretty Little Liars... The story line is great and blah blah blah but so is the style. I did some digging and found some of the shoes that Aria has worn on the show. The small images of her are not so clear but... well... can't really do much about that for now but am still looking for a source which can provide clearer images.

Just COOL!!!

This one is just cool. I saw a few pics of one of my closest buddies from high school on facebook and of course I had to use them on my blog. Felicity (my friend) is now in the States and her style is awesome. 

Have to love this look. The messenger bag she is carrying is not so visible but everything else is. Love the shoes. 

 

There is a 'thing' for floral printed jumpsuits and this one caught my eye. It has a brilliant mix of colours which unfortunately cannot be seen on this photo but you'll just have to take my word for it.

 

 Hahahahaha!!! Now this I LOVE!!... The shoes being my favourite accessory...

 Have you ever wondered how to rock patterned stockings??... I have. They can be pretty cool when worn correctly... Love the scarf-top combination.

Black and white

So its all black and white. No happy bright hues, just the black and the white. *Chuckle*... The bow tie and the wedge booties again. The temptation was too much to not give into it and to make it even more interesting, I topped it off with a fedora.

A form fitting blazer always looks good but that also depends on the outfit.
